SCHLBR8630F Heavy Duty Fire-Rated Less Bottom Rod Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device / Smooth Housing / Grade 1

SCHLBR8630F heavy duty fire-rated less bottom rod surface vertical rod exit devices with smooth housing are used for UL listed fire labeled pairs of doors up to 8′ x 8′ (2438mm x 2438mm).
The Exit devices are available in the following finishes: US3, US4, US10, US10B, US26, US26D, US32D.

Note:
The LBR devices had been re-tested or approved by two nationally recognized test laboratories.
Fire-rated LBR device must use with a UL listed Fire Latch Bolt.

Quiet Solution (Option)

A mechanical damper controls the motion and reduces the noise associated with the exit device operation to provide customers with a quieter environment.
Specify “Quiet Solution” when ordering.

Durability: Durable but more prone to visible scratches compared with grooved housing.

Vertical Rods	1/2″ (13 mm) diameter tubular with rod guides. Top rod has two pieces to connect for accommodating 7′ 8′ door. Bottom rod is one piece, its length is 31 ¹/₄″ (794 mm)
Projection	Pushbar Neutral: 3 ¹/₁₆″ (78 mm), Pushbar Depressed: 2 ¹⁹/₃₂″ (66 mm)

The devices are precut for 36″ (914 mm) and 48″ (1219 mm) wide doors (standard shipping size). No additional cutting is necessary.

Short (36″): 33 ⁵/₃₂″ (842 mm)
Long (48″): 45 ¹/₈″ (1146 mm)

For narrow doors, trim the “A” portion to fit a door width minus 2″ (51 mm).

Standard vertical rods fit 7′ (2134 mm) panic exit doors or 8′ (2438 mm) fire exit doors. For taller doors, specify the height when ordering to receive a longer top rod.

Long 48″: Device length is 45 ¹/₈″ (1146 mm) for 4′ door use, with long push bar.
