SCHHD057The SCHHD057 is an Aluminum Continuous Geared Full Surface Hinge, suitable for use with any standard frame without the need for hinge preps. It can be installed with or without reinforcements, depending on the door’s weight.
The frame face must provide a flat surface at least 1 3⁄16 ″ (30.16 mm) wide. A clearance of 1/16″ (1.57 mm) is required between the hinge edge of the door and the frame rabbet. The “HD” model includes additional bearings and frame fasteners, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications.
